Our latest client tasked us with transforming their expansive garden. We tackled an overgrown, neglected pond, removed hidden concrete sections and removed rubbish. We also uprooted six large trees and created a trench for bamboo removal, with a concrete barrier to prevent future growth. Finally, we laid a concrete slab for a pergola at the garden’s rear.
This project had some unique challenges! With no machine access around the property due to a recent extension, we creatively navigated our digger and dumper through the garage and French doors.
We also protected the newly installed tarmac driveway by laying a pathway of recycled ply. Solutions like these keep our clients’ properties safe while we work!
We came across some exceptionally large tree roots. Our team specializes in thorough tree removal, ensuring that even the deepest roots are completely excavated. This meticulous approach prevents future issues and keeps the landscape pristine.
This client had an innovative plan for their garden, including installing PEX water pipes to ensure self-watering planted areas. We also ran armored cables to provide power from the property to the garage for a new solar panel system, as well as for outdoor heating and lighting. Additionally, we installed armored Cat6 cables for internet connectivity, allowing the homeowners to enjoy internet access in their pergola area.
To future-proof the garden, we also ran additional conduits for any potential cabling or pipes that may be needed if the design changes. A concrete trench was also dug and filled to protect against bamboo growth and to support a more robust solar panel system.
An essential but often forgotten piece of any project is cleaning up the site and any communal areas used. We made sure to clean and wash the road, as well as the driveway, to restore the property back to its original condition—if not better!
